Grassroots Campaigns is seeking an experienced, ambitious candidate to build our client roster, and help our firm expand within our existing operations, as well as expand into new areas of services. The Director of Outreach and Communications will be responsible for our overall partner outreach strategy, expanding our political presence, and growing the types of campaigns we operate. This Director is part of the senior management team.
Qualifications: The Director of Outreach and Communications will need a strong work ethic, initiative and a dedication to progressive issues. We’re looking for someone has the ability to network in a variety of social and work environments, and has good public speaking and presenting skills. Potential partner groups have varying styles and settings, and the Outreach and Communications Director will need to be flexible and effective in all such settings. Candidate must be a fast, succinct and clear writer. Marketing or communications experience, and familiarity with canvassing and electoral campaigns preferred. 5+ years of experience is preferred.
